I'm not sure what you bozos are thinking picking Florida anywhere below 2. The Gators get Tennessee and Auburn at home. Georgia's at a neutral site (with a whole of Gator fans), which only leaves a tough game at LSU. They have to go to Ole Miss, Kentucky and South Carolina. Vandy comes to the swamp. They also get the week off after they play LSU (and before they play Kentucky).

6-2 is highly probable with this offense. That's going to be good enough for 1st, and 2nd at worst.

No doubt the East is totally wide open. The big three all lose a lot from last year and have big question marks. Could be SC's year to pull it off.

You'll note, BSR, that TL has the Gators at 2nd.

I saw that, but you also have SC finishing first. While I think SC will be vastly improved, I'm not sure their scheduled helps them. They have to play on the road at Georgia, Tennessee and LSU. They also play Tennessee, Arkansas and Florida all in a row at the end of the season to end league play. That's tough.

Tennessee and Georgia have the easiest road to the SEC East crown by virtue of not having to play LSU.

Tennessee gets Georgia at home. That gives them the overall edge. But I could easily see a three-way tie at 6-2.

SC is a bit of a reach, and their schedule is tough. But they seem to play well at Georgia, and Spurrier has Fulmer's number. Road games at LSU and at Arkansas won't be easy, but I think they can get to Florida at 5-2, and play the Gators at home for the right to go to the SEC title game.

You may be right. This could certainly be a break out year for South Carolina if Blake Mitchell can play football instead of skipping class. That said, I think Fulmer puts too much experience on the field to choke to them at home. I'd be willing to concede that SC beats Arkansas this season. I think they will. But even with that win, there are too many unknowns with having to play at Georgia and at LSU. 3 losses won't win the East.
