Ole Miss Wrap; Tulsa Preview

Site of OU's Historic Wins Gone Missing, Per JimmyG

The crew (sans Johnny) discusses the Ole Miss loss at Historic War Memorial Stadium this past weekend.  Tom Logan handles the mailbag with his usual aplomb, while JimmyG is flummoxed by the mysterious disappearance of the Orange Bowl.  Enjoy this week's show.

SEC East Preview; National Preview; National Sleeper Picks

Does anyone really understand this????
Season 8, Episode 2 brings you the crew's SEC East preview show, including a preview of the SEC Championship matchups.  We also discuss the national college football scene, including previews of all the BCS conference races.  And last, but of course not least, we have the national sleeper picks.  JimmyG like Arizona State, Tom Logan favors Louisville, Patrick Williams says Syracuse, and Johnny Fayetteville likes Texas Tech.  As always, the National Sleeper picks are open for ridicule by any and all listeners.    Enjoy the show-next week is GAME WEEK!

Razorbacks Beat the Tigers in WMS; Sugar Bowl Next???

The Razorbacks beat the LSU Tigers in a great game Saturday in Historic War Memorial Stadium.  In this week's show, the crew discusses the LSU game and the Hogs bowl prospects.  Also up for discussion is the Cam Newton situation and other issues.  Johnny Fayetteville has pretty much put the picks contest away; and Tom Logan needs another drink.  Razorbacks are likely in the Sugar or Capital One Bowls!

Arkansas Commandeers the Commodores; Steve Superior and the Gamecocks are Next

This week's show brings some A+ rants against ESPN, Boise, and Wally Hall.  Arkansas comes off a resounding 49-14 win over Vanderbilt in Fayetteville, but loses WR Greg Childs to a knee injury.  Next up is South Carolina, with freshman sensation Marcus Lattimore and Senior Stephen Garcia at QB, and the ever quotable Steve Spurrier on the sidelines.  The picks contest tightens up with everyone back within 2 games after PW's 5-1 week.

Razorpod 11-17-09: Unhorsing Troy; Mississippi State Comes to Historic War Memorial

Despite Johnny Fayetteville's worst fears, the Troy game turned out to be nothing to worry about. Mallett had another big day, spreading the ball around so that 8 different players scored. Big day for the offense all around. Defense is who we though they were. Porous between the 20's, but stout in the red zone. Next up is Miss. State, coming off a brutal loss to Bama. We'll see whether they decide to let go of the rope at War Memorial Stadium this Saturday. Early kick has been kind to the Hogs this season, so let's keep it going. In the mailbag, we discuss a possible early entrance to the NFL draft for Mallett, and a listener fills us in on the military flyovers before games.

Razorpod 9-16-09: Georgia Preview

In this week's show, the Razorpod crew previews the Georgia game.  Arkansas is a 2 point favorite, and the crew's picks reflect this as they split down the middle on the game.  The crew gets a bit testy with Patrick Williams about the order of the picks, and JimmyG welcomes Tracy from Tulsa back to the fold.  Johnny Fayetteville invokes the "explicit" tag at about the 1:00:00 mark, so beware.

Nods to JimmyG for the Houston sleeper pick last week, and for Johnny for the Rajun Cajuns over K-State. JimmyG also has a well-reasoned rant about Urban Meyer worth the listen. And: Guess where JimmyG ends up for his sleeper pick? Yep, you guessed it: The Palouse!
