Is Jeff Long, formerly AD at Pitt. I honestly don't know the first thing about him. Big shoes to fill, following Frank Broyles, to be sure.

Hope he's a good hire. Surely he won't botch the next big coaching hire as bad as the last AD did in the spring.
Long seems to be seasoned and steady. He can raise money, and he understands the student-athlete environment. One thing is for certain, he's got no allegiances to anyone on the BOT in the way Frank did. Houston should beware.
