LSU 78, Arkansas 77: Snatching Defeat from the Jaws of Victory (yet again).

Once again, the Razorback basketball team managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory last night in Baton Rouge. Leading 77-75 with about 20 seconds left, the Tigers fouled freshman guard Sean McCurdy, who proceeded to miss 2 free throws that could have sealed the game.

LSU came down the court and hit a three point basket with about 11 seconds left. Was there ever any doubt as to how this would come out?

*SIGH*

Well, at least we finally got the answer to the question "Why isn't McCurdy getting more playing time?"
Apparently, we just never had a proper situation, you know: up by 2, on the road, less than 30 seconds, only played 1 minute and only shot 6 free throws all year.

Never thought I'd say this, especially in mid-season, but Stan needs to go, and he needs to go now!

How come y'all are so quick to post about losses, but wins don't ever make it on here?

Good point. I guess I just take the losses harder so Im more apt to post right away to get it off my chest.

How 'bout the baseball team!
