2 in a ROW!

What a great win...Arkansas 66, Alabama 64. The Razorbacks, after being down 42-24 and all but left for dead, came storming back to beat Alabama on a late 3-point play from Ronnie Brewer. Down the stretch, the Hogs did what they had to win, while playing tough defense on a tired Alabama team.

One stat which I didn't think I would ever see this season-
the Razorbacks outscored Alabama 41 to 26 in the second half. Way to close the game strong!

Big Win...Arkansas 85 Florida 81 OT

Finally, a close game they pulled out. Admittedly, this was at home, but this has got to give the team some confidence going forward. Modica and Brewer made huge plays down the stretch, in regulation and overtime. I would have like to have seen them make a couple of free throws to seal it earlier, but its great to get a win. Now, lets see if we can beat Bama at home.

Ole Miss 73, Arkansas 70

Once again, the Hogs find a way to lose on the road. Stan Heath is now 3-30 on the road in his tenure at Arkansas.

O where have you gone, once proud program?

Today, the statewide newspaper sports editor wrote in his column that the Razorbacks won't go to the NCAA tournament unless they get the automatic bid by winning the SEC tournament. Do you agree?

Remember, Hog fans, baseball and track seasons are coming up!

A 20-point win over Auburn...

While we are very happy about the win, it was a pretty lackadasical effort from the team. Just one question, how do we nearly get outrebounded by the small team in the league? Still, I'm not complaining, a win is a win.

We still ahve a chance to put together a decent season if we can go on a run here. If we can beat Ole Miss on the road and somehow eke out a win over Florida at home, I think we can get a little momentum. My prediction: 10-6 in league play, lose in the second round of the SEC tournament.

LSU 78, Arkansas 77: Snatching Defeat from the Jaws of Victory (yet again).

Once again, the Razorback basketball team managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory last night in Baton Rouge. Leading 77-75 with about 20 seconds left, the Tigers fouled freshman guard Sean McCurdy, who proceeded to miss 2 free throws that could have sealed the game.

LSU came down the court and hit a three point basket with about 11 seconds left. Was there ever any doubt as to how this would come out?

*SIGH*
